Membership

Why Membership?

One of the core values that CAH strives to fulfil is to be responsive to the needs and views of our members. We’re a membership organisation - our strength as an infrastructure organisation is founded on the success of our relationship with our members.

And like any successful relationship, its strength is reliant on clear lines of communication – it’s a two-way street - which really means that we should talk to one another and take the time to listen.

What are the Benefits?

CAH Membership is free and there are a range of benefits

Along with practical support, CAH also takes a strategic position within the county and the region with representation on various committees and boards that influence policy decisions.

Community Action Hampshire strives to influence local and regional policy through, for example, acting as an accountable body for one of the 8 outcomes of the Local Area Agreement.

We don't aim to represent the voluntary sector but rather build networks of organisations that share common ground upon which relationships can be built.

We aim to speak from the voluntary sector, and with a credible voice rising from a broad and committed membership base.

So membership is important. With an active and committed membership base Community Action Hampshire will be well positioned to fulfil our mission: to strengthen and promote community action in Hampshire.
