LEADER funding for rural projects in Hampshire

Rural Hampshire is benefitting from the EU Rural Development Programme 2008 – 2013
LEADER funding, maximum of £50k per grant, is available for a range of projects including farm diversification, tourism and local food, forestry projects, renewable energy projects, village renewal and rural heritage.
Each programme is coordinated by a Local Action Group (LAG) which decides its own priorities – the six LAGs covering rural Hampshire are:
Fieldfare (Winchester and East Hampshire)
Plain Action (parishes around Salisbury Plain, includes some of the Test Valley parishes)
Sowing SEEDS (North Dorset and South Wiltshire, includes small number of parishes in north west corner of the New Forest.
