ACRE’s new rural policy position papers

ACRE (Action for Communities in Rural England) produced 10 new rural policy position papers for politicians and others attending the party political conferences this autumn.

As well as highlighting the context and background of issues facing rural communities, these also include examples of where communities have taken action for themselves.

The topics covered by the position papers are community led planning, transport, housing, healthcare, climate change, children and young people, community buildings, services, older people; rural challenges.
