Winter Warmth Grants
Portsmouth Winter Warmth Small Grant Programme
Does your organisation support people in Portsmouth who are at risk from the cold weather? If you do any kind of work with people with disabilities, older people, anyone whose housing is inadequate, or people with increased risk of harm caused by harsh weather, then think about applying for a Warm Front grant.
Ideas for work we can support
- Enabling vulnerable people to get to appointments, lunch clubs and the like.
- Outreach work to advise people on keeping warm and accessing other support available to them.
- Helping people take advantage of home improvements and other ways of reducing their energy bills.

Funding, Fundraising & Income Generation
Localgiving.com for Local Needs
Hampshire and the Isle of Wight Community Foundation (HIWCF) is working in partnership with Localgiving.com to give community groups and charities the exciting opportunity to raise awareness, support and funds for their cause!
Localgiving.com is an online donations website that allows smaller groups and charities to make the most of their donors’ generosity by receiving Gift Aid on all non-corporate donations. Groups that join Localgiving.com are given a quick and easy webpage to design and advertise all their funding and volunteer needs as well as keeping their communities up-to-date on what projects and events they are participating in.
Youth Clubs Hampshire and Isle of Wight
Youth Clubs Hampshire and Isle of Wight are offering an array of benefits to their members. For the rest of 2012-13, YCHIOW are offering Portsmouth groups 50% off their affiliation fee.
